Our Founders

Kratika Baddpalli — Co-Founder

A South Indian girl who grew up draping dreams in six yards.
Kratika’s journey blends education, experience, and emotion.
She holds an MBA in HR from ITM Mumbai and has worked with renowned organizations such as Reliance Jio and Billabong International School, where she developed discipline, leadership, and a sharp professional perspective.
Currently pursuing her PhD, Kratika chose not to separate career from passion.
Sarees — her first love — remained constant through every chapter of her life.
Kanak Katha Couture is where her academic grounding, corporate exposure, and lifelong admiration for sarees meet — proving that passion and profession can coexist beautifully.

Princy Chaudhary — Co-Founder

Calm by nature, emotional at heart, and quietly powerful in execution.
Born and raised in Mathura, Princy’s connection with sarees was shaped organically. Watching her mother drape sarees with grace and gift them with love nurtured her appreciation for tradition, craftsmanship, and the stories behind every weave.
She completed her MBA from BIMTECH, Noida, and brings 5 years of professional experience as a Product Manager. Her journey includes:
2 years building products from the ground up at her first organization.
3 years as a Cross-Sell Product Manager.
Princy brings a sharp eye for product curation, pricing, positioning, and brand direction — ensuring that every collection is not only beautiful, but thoughtfully built.

How the Co-Founders Met

Some partnerships are written long before they begin. Our story started with a friendship — one that belonged to our husbands. Saurabh Khatri and Prashant Gyanchandani, college friends and roommates for six formative years, built a bond rooted in trust and shared experiences. From that foundation, two journeys unfolded — one marriage in 2024, another in 2025. Different moments, same circle. What began as their friendship naturally evolved into our partnership. Rooted in legacy, guided by fate, and united by shared values — that’s how Kanak Katha Couture found its co-founders.
